You can sort folders from settings. It’s also possible to pin the camera folder so it’s always first.

I don’t know anything about the 8 line, but support for the OnePlus 7 Pro was also sad. All of the custom ROMs sucked until I found YAAP. No idea what Lineage looks like on this phone yet, but I’ll switch to it when YAAP is no longer supported.
All this to say I don’t think OnePlus is the amazing company with great custom ROM support that it once was. I always heard great things about their phones, but this was my first and last phone from them. I’ll be looking at other companies with better custom ROM support for my future phone purchases.
When I was living in China I noticed something similar. It was as if they were all trying to look as close as possible to Apple while being just distinct enough to not be an issue. Apple is huge in China, but not everyone can afford it I guess.
Same as you. Lost Liftoff and using Thunder now. Quite happy with Thunder, but I’ve got Raccoon and Voyager as backups right now. Just in case Thunder disappears as well.
Get a Pixel and give it a shot. If it doesn’t work for you the Pixels have amazing support in the custom ROM community so you’ll be able to find something you like for sure.
This is actually a solid suggestion. If no one else wants to help, these guys just might be able to.
This rant has been posted before. I’ve seen it multiple times and I’m pretty sure they’ve posted on the piracy communities as well. They seem adamant on getting these files.
Edit: I just checked and it seems this is either a different user or an alternate account, because those previous posts aren’t on this profile.
I’m not too familiar with crDroid, but my guess is that this has something to do with your GApps. I’ve never had much luck with the bigger packages. I either use the minimal packages or use a ROM that has the Google feature I’m looking for built in, like Pixel Experience or YAAP.
This is probably not what you wanted to hear, so I hope someone else can give you a better solution.
Windows has a built-in screenshot tool that’s already been mentioned, but I’ve been using Greenshot for a while and it works well. Print Screen button as a shortcut and it freezes the screen while you draw a rectangle to screenshot, so if you want the mouse pointer in the shot you just put it in the right spot and hit Print Screen.
Never heard of that before. Only familiar with TWRP and OrangeFox myself, but these days every custom ROM has its own very basic recovery anyway if you don’t need anything special.
TWRP and OrangeFox allow you to make full backups and do root things without rooting your phone. If you have no need for that kind of functionality then it doesn’t make sense to do it. ClockWorkMod I’m pretty sure doesn’t exist anymore, or does it?
I’d happily buy another one if it was as good as the 2S that I still use as my secondary phone.
Has to be my Xiaomi Mix 2S I bought in 2019. Selfie camera is at the bottom of the phone, which is weird, but at least it’s not a notch camera. Custom ROM support was amazing and it’s still a great phone.
Edit: Fingerprint reader on the back too. Always reliable unlike the OnePlus 7 Pro that has one in the screen that refuses to work 50% of the time.
Try this. It seems .xapk files take a few extra steps. Not made by APKPure though.
I’ve used APKPure in the past for APK downloads. I think that site and APKMirror are okay. Try them, but be careful. I haven’t used them often, but I think they are sometimes recommended for APK downloads. Don’t think their downloads are cracked or modified in any way so if that age verification is part of the game then this might not work.
More like 300. Many of these sites will be copied multiple times.
My personal pirate mentality: Sharing is caring.
No clue, honestly. I just don’t want to use the stock clients.
Windows 11 LTSC was also released recently for anyone that has to use 11.
