You’re sure it wasn’t for… other reasons?

Yep this seems even more blurry and pixelated than the last 3 times I saw it haha
I imagine people resharing memes (long before OP here) take a photo of their monitor with a potato phone and then reupload that after resizing it with some shitty Motorola app or whatever first. Do that 3-4x and soon it’s a mess.
They sure as hell do. Show your sources or GTFO.
If you’re not vaccinated (or not boosted for the correct variant) then the virus population blooms much more quickly and you get a higher viral load, meaning your coughs and sneezes are quite literally more contagious.
You should still get the boosters because those will both A) help keep you from becoming ill at all, and B) not transmit it to others if you do.
Most other people aren’t in great shape. Wouldn’t you feel bad if you passed it to someone’s cute kid or lovely grandma and they got severely ill as a result?
I believe that resolves the same as
ain’t!(!untrue)
I have a Pixel 4a. I root with Magisk and run the Advanced Charging Controller (ACC) module to stop charging at 80%. Then for convenience I run the ACCA frontend app in the rare case I want to disable that.
Then like others I run AccuBattery for stats, and uninstall/replace apps that use a disproportionate amount of power.
I try to keep the charge level in the 20-80% ideal range. I should use a slow charger too but honestly I usually can’t be bothered to swap it since I tend to use the same charger for multiple devices (a nice one that does a variety of voltage and amperage outputs).
This strategy has gotten me a lot of life out of devices, but at this point with my 4a I still generally leave Android’s battery saver mode turned on too.
Full-time Workspace admin here. My company currently doesn’t manage devices or use work profiles either. I can’t see anything on a user’s device, the most I can do is block the device from syncing or wipe the data owned by the work account (but not touch your personal apps or files). The admin documentation is actually public at support.google.com/a/.
If data is needed it’s going to be on request from the security, compliance, or legal teams. Your particular use case is pretty low risk. By default the Gmail app caches the last 30 days of email, but those are stored within your work account on the cloud anyway. So I could get what they need regardless of your device. There would be more risk if you were downloading local copies of Google Docs or something.
To lower the risk further you could make a totally separate user on Android (with its own PIN, homescreen, apps, etc). The OS should partition that off and encrypt it so it can’t even interact with your personal data. However you’d have to switch logins if you want to access personal stuff. I haven’t tried the other sandboxing software mentioned here so I can’t vouch for it, but that could be a lot more convenient.
Of course for zero risk of your phone being confiscated in a litigation sweep, it’s best to just have a totally separate work device. That’s what I do.
Me too, Fan, me too.
It’s also a beta with no updates since March 2019 apparently :(
Really? I only used the recipe book once but it seemed easy to hit the checkboxes and move ingredients over to my grocery list.
Mostly I just use it to sync shopping lists between myself and my partner. For that it has been quite reliable. Yeah I can imagine some UI improvements, but overall I think it’s pretty good.
Can you find a better grocery app? I’ve tried a ton of them and most were horrible. Either they had a hard-to-navigate UI with no dark mode, or they didn’t allow syncing with another person, or some major functional problem.
There used to be a grocery app I loved called Cinnamon but the dev stopped maintaining it :(
Those are good features. Thanks, I’ll check it out!
I’ve thought about those but I’m just not sure I’d really use them. I’m generally happy keeping my screen pretty simple with static wallpaper and very few widgets.
What do you like about it that can’t be done with e.g. Simple File Manager?
I will say the Cloud storage integration looks nice.
That’s a good suggestion. I don’t think I personally have enough subscriptions to need Tilla but I could see it helping a lot of folks.
Ah yeah that one should have been on my list. Been running it for years. Good call.
I don’t think I could ever trust CCleaner after the self-signed malware incident.
For me, Steam Deck has entirely replaced Android gaming and then some.
Thanks for the reminder, I keep forgetting to try Sync. Mostly I use Voyager and have been pretty happy.
I love Musicolet and didn’t realize it had a paid version. I’ll get that for sure.
Do you mean… not pandering to the majority who wish you wouldn’t copulate with canines?
