Lemmy getting “one guy”-d is such a story, and I do believe it. Petty assholes doing shit has hapenned a couple times, hell, just this week, Valve had to basically nuke half their Dota 2 Arcade because one guy started filing GDPR complaints after he *checks notes* didn’t get a stupid discord icon. It’s always like this. The “one guy” always has the dumbest, pathetic motivation.

The solution is crossposting. If the threads on OP are all by the same user, then they should be crossposting, and mods should be warning them to do so.
Except margins of inner elements and paddings of course.
I really would like that styling was a part of the structure itself too, but way before then, I’d love for JS and HTML to be coupled closer together. The way Angular/React/etc couple things at render time is just way more straightforward.
Unfortunately, I can also think of a bajillion reasons why Js should stay decoupled.
What about custom CSS. The whole reason why old.reddit was good was because every single sub actually looked like a different environment. I could tell where I was even at a glance, and even on a monochrome screen.
