Oh, to me it sounded like you could access the video, it just had DRM so you couldn’t save it.

I assume you don’t need the absolute best in quality, but I’d try a screen capture utility.
On a Mac, QuickTime player can record sections.
I’m torn between blocking a community and being the change Lemmy needs. There are a lot of sensationalists on here and clickbait. I really wanted to bring discourse and niche passion to Lemmy, and some communities are wonderful, but man, there are some bad apples here; a wild West of unmoderated reddit soapboxes and megaphones.
I keep trying to think of ways to help, but solutions start to lean towards reddit style moderation (which pissed off users) or defederation (which will fracture this whole project).
I am hopeful though.
Not at all. Simply one doesn’t generally need a doctor every year and sometimes, more often in my case, medical care is not received, or received with such a delay, I’ve healed on my own.
The last time I actually needed emergency life-saving health care was 10 years ago and my insurance denied treatment.
I saw my last doctor with lower right abdominal pain, a fever, and blood in my urine.
He gave me a list of heartburn triggers and foods to avoid.
Some American health care is on par with survival of the fittest in my books. (Hopefully it changes soon. Still finding, or rather being assigned, a new doctor.)
Wait, is this somesort of punishment, cuz it sounds amazing.
Like, getting away from shit for a year and head into the woods, no problems, no worries, make friends, brew some beer, campfires, games.
And you want us to come back to our 9-5’s, struggling wages, and stress?
Sounding better by the minute!
I realized that too ages ago. But I still find blocks better for 2 reasons. 1) you can cut cheese mold off and the rest is perfectly fine so blocks can last longer. 2) shredded does have anti caking agents to keep it loose. Nothing bad IMO, but unnecessary for my cooking.
I’m with you on that. There are some gems on streaming sites still, but lots of half baked content to sift through.
I’ve actually started buying DVDs again to add to a plex archive. A lot of not-current shows and movies are in my budget and I don’t have to worry about availability. I will say Plex tells me what service has what content in my watchlist which is nice, but doesn’t work for everything.
My SO and I were searching for a show and just gave up; too much of a hassle. Downloading would have been easy if we wanted, but after doing the searching dance, we just didn’t care anymore and threw on a show we know and enjoy.
Aluminum and glass are natural and just use heat and presses to renew and transform into desired forms.
Plastic takes a lot more processing and isn’t readily recyclable.
Good luck on your updates. Thanks for all your work. Raise a glass
I was driving around doing errands and passed by that pie place. I was all “Hey! Is that the famous pie place now?” Yup, sure enough. The shop was closer then I thought. Best of luck to them!
I remember modest coffee had something like that happen and bought a box of beans to help them out.
Antenna on roof over here. Just finished checking the alignment. I’m all set!
Edit: just noticed the community. Might not help. Good luck though.
I do that too, but had to add another variable. I use a priority-level or yearly rotating trigger word to pick out messages from spam. Keeps more of the riffraff out and easy to ban old temp addresses.

Yeah they blocked it a few months ago. I don’t remember the specifics, but it seemed like a new mod/admin came into play and didn’t get the memo about Lemmy and trying to be more transparent and engaged with communities. Just poof
