I really don’t understand lazy censoring. You can either not use the thin pen tool or just spend a few more seconds making sure it’s unreadable. What’s the point of doing it at all if people can still decipher what you’re obscuring?

It’s not always about the money. You’ve never had a control-freak supervisor?
Do they provide the dogs?
Because there’s no joke.
That is unfortunate. But it’s like an old-school program: does everything possible, just consider the options yourself!
Plugging Podcast Addict. I don’t even use the paid version, but it is awesome!
Isn’t that exactly what their point is?
Absolutely no one.
Nope, I’m just screaming into the void.
Agreed. But until we actually hold these giant companies accountable, please don’t take it out on the worker by stiffing them. If you don’t want to pay the fees, don’t use that service, and tell them that.

One UI is garbage and that sucks. With that said, I don’t think Swype is maintained any more? So this was going to happen anyway, eventually. If you like it (like I did), try Gboard. I use Swype-style typing on it daily.
I love Podcast Addict, but I don’t think you can set the sort per podcast. I want my entertainment ones to be oldest->newest and the reverse for things like news.
Indeed. we would straight-up chase shoplifters right out the front door and further, if they didn’t give up what they stole. Myself and another employee ran after a guy who stole some meat and what-not. He ran across the street and into a sketchy apartment building. My coworker went to the door to open it and enter the building and it’s only then that common-sense clicked in. I called him off telling him we had no idea what was waiting for us in there…
I literally wouldn’t advocate “sailing the high seas” if companies didn’t all aggressively accelerate enshittification and run toward consumer-hostile, short-term, endlessly greedy practices. And then there’s this, which is on another level. Storage is crazy-cheap these days, people…
Human to human: I am so, so sorry for your loss and hope you are able to accept it and eventually still live your life to its fullest. I imagine that’s what she would have wanted. Nothing else I say should diminish that.
[She] didn’t get it checked, figured it was a bit of fake titty that broke loose.
What does this mean!? I don’t have breasts, so I have no personal experience but is it common for parts of them to break loose??
Another dead conservative Boomer! Win?
I’m sure you’re hurting, but this is a lot of projection. Did anyone actually say this (either online or in-person)!? If so, they are a bad person, no matter their political affiliation or beliefs and you should stay away from them…
If this isn’t an unintended glitch that’s horse shit. I would cancel my account and tell them why.
A popular theory is that a lot of bots were deployed to make the exodus seem less impactful. So, officially the numbers might be similar, but I’m sure there’s less real content and people…
No, thanks to the repeal of the Chevron Doctrine, federal agencies aren’t allowed to regulate things they’re in charge of.
