there is more than one user for your product. If you don’t know that, it sounds like you either haven’t done a user survey or you haven’t created the correct user profiles (based on that survey).

Creating a “perfect UI” without asking users what they want is not good UX. It’s just masturbation. The user survey tells you that people want A B C, etc. and in which order. You should know exactly how your changes are going to be received when you release them.

Imagine a restaurant that doesn’t ask you what you want. Instead the chef tells you “This is the best food possible” and just makes what they want. That’s what developing without a user survey is like.

What data? Your pizza order data? What extra data does the app look at?

I genuinely don’t know because I have pizza places that don’t suck. You can get a real pizza for $20.

It isn’t particularly hard to call this out. Just say “I haven’t done anything since Friday.” And leave it at that.

Be comfortable with silence.

PMs act that way because people above them ask for updates regularly. Bad PMs don’t know how to push back. If you need things done faster, the answer is usually “we need more resources”.

People don’t think these things through. Google can’t possibly be cheaper than a wireless carrier because they don’t own any towers. Wireless carriers will make sure Google doesn’t sell cheaper than they can sell it themselves.

Also, things like Metro PCS (before T-Mobile bought them) just have lower network priority. So “cheaper” just means crappy service. Good luck making a phone call at a sporting event or concert.

If they are blocked they’ll leave a message: “Call me”. It’s like no one has ever heard of screening calls with an answering machine.

On some apps you can block specific words. Block the words “Elon” and “Musk” and you’ll never miss anything important.

With an MBA they could open their own store. They have all the experience. Then they can fight shoplifters to their heart’s content, or learn why no one does.

If healthcare was free, would you want to work at a store that required non-security workers to stop shoplifters? Think about what you’re asking for.

No lawyer will take this lawsuit against the store. They would just pull out the employee manual that says “do not confront shoplifters”. As a manager, he definitely knew that, probably even taught new employees.

Just get a new job, or get an MBA. Experienced managers are always in short supply.

Eligible for flu shots? Tf? In the US, almost all shots are 100% free. It’s the most cost effective way to keep people healthy. I thought you guys had healthcare?

You are thinking of freedom of association: you are free to associate with people you like. This implies that you are free to not associate with people that you don’t like. It’s in the First Amendment too.

Blocking some dumbass from posting or commenting is just saying you don’t want to associate with them.
