Impatient kids mostly if I had to guess
Impatient kids mostly if I had to guess
is there one of those for citra?
I was batch 2, it looks like the first few batches are going out at the same time, also I was lucky as I didn’t order any of the parts that were delayed
I really like it so far, I look forward to using it for a long time
More and more I’m starting to agree with this view, still glad he introduced me to my new laptop (framework 16) though
But NVidia isn’t a barrier for wayland anymore.
I’ve heard that before recently, but tbth I really don’t want to mess with my system rn (barring updates), it mostly acts as a server lately sense I got my SteamDeck and that’s probably how it’s gonna stay as I really want to avoid accidentally breaking anything for the time being
When I get my batch 2 framework order I’m going to be a lot more willing to learn adout and experiment with Wayland, just becouse I know whatever I do on that it won’t interrupt what other people are doing who are connect to the aformentioned server on my older machine
Will I upgrade my other computer to Wayland? Maybe eventually after I’ve learned more about it and played with it some, but for the time being it’s just gonna stay as it is
I’ve heard that there is one, and I understand the reasons to let programs decide the icon, but what’s the controversy? What makes people think it’s a bad idea?
Becouse I’m still on nvidia, when I get the framework 16" soon tm it’s getting Wayland
They’re all a bit different though
Becouse SP3 was the first time Microsoft really let loose with the telemetry iirc
Yeaaaaaah, I don’t know what Microsoft were thinking trying to force a unified UI on everyone… It didn’t work
I don’t remember any version of Windows I actively use ever auto updating for me either, but that’s because I turned that shit off myself.
Not disagreeing with you, but when I turned off updates on win 10 it stopped it for a while, and then forced it no matter what I did in the middle of what I was doing one day (only to fail, bluescreen and revert, but that’s another story)
Never had a windows brick on me
Can I have your autograph? Never met anyone who’s never had windows brick itself for no discernible reason before!
Windows 7 was the last good version of windows.
Disagree, 7 wasn’t the worst but the last actually good version of windows was XP service pack 2
The main thing that we need imo is something like SteamOS that is installable on every PC and has the backing of valve, sadly it’s still limited to the deck
becouse it may not be the perfect desktop OS experience (for your average linux user anyway), but game mode is absolutely a game changer for people who just want to play games on their computer 90% of the time
Yeah slowly, it started years ago but it’s been getting worse every version, slowly
Fast would be if windows 8 had ads and non uninstallable internet exploder etc
Linux user here, I really think we should stop recommendding Ubuntu, it’s not what it used to be
For my parents sake I’m keeping it until that gets to me, though they have been warned and are going through everything they want to watch as fast as they can
I’m only keeping it to share with my parents, the second they follow Netflix’s new policy on password sharing though I’m out
Same with games while we’re at it, there are games I got for free that I would rather pirate so it doesn’t have the DRM than download and install the copy I have legal access to
