I get it. I was a new leftist once too. Hoping there was some way I could push the system such that we would reach our leftist utopia before I die. But the reality is harsh. We’re not going to fix this in our lifetimes and we’re going to suffer for it, and that’s okay.

Let’s put political power in where we can and prepare the next generations of leftist to be successful.

A revolution only works when we have agreement on a large enough scale to be successful. We are not there yet. Consolidating ideologies only going to hurt us at this point.

If I ever want to take a break from my personal project and come back to it. Unit tests are necessary. If I try to continue working on a project that doesn’t have unit tests. I feel like every bit of code I touch is introducing countless hours of debugging. It really demoralizes me.

Yep, 90% of my time while turning the button, a different color is spent teaching the juniors how to make their five web pages worth of content and unblocking people who are stuck because they did something stupid.

So at my work we’ve implemented a automatic code formatter. Instead of having discussions about the process of changing the configuration file we just put it up on GitHub. I think I might have found a fun April fool’s prank.
