First off, you have nothing at all to fear when changing keyboards, they are all switchable easily through the notification dropdown.

For something wildly different, I’d recommend Thumb-Key, it takes a while to get used to it but I’ve gotten faster and more accurate with it than with a normal keyboard.

Otherwise Openboard is really good, and there’s a fork of it too if you like swipe typing.

There’s a load of confusion in this thread.

What the post is about is compiler based clean code enforcement. JS doesn’t do this, but your editor in combination with ESLint prevents you from running the program. However this isn’t a general JS thing, just the way your setup works.

As with most OS software, the usual method is by going to the github repo, checking out the README and Contributing guidelines and whatever else the documentation offers in that regard, and then looking through the open issues and see if there’s something you’d like to solve. Sorting by ‘good first issue’ can be helpful too. You should definitely join the Matrix instance so you can ask something if you’re stuck.
